Pines pen & charcoal
Walked the cycle-path from Elgin to Lossiemouth today, drawing free-ranging pigs, flowers, birds and landscapes. Halting in a felled area of the forest, I sat on an old tree stump and drew these pines standing tall against the forest beyond.

I am an artist based in Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland, inspired by the natural world. I paint in acrylic, oil and watercolour, draw with pens and sketch with pencils and charcoal. My aim with this blog is to use it as an incentive to keep drawing, drawing, drawing. I will be posting my drawings, perhaps some paintings, photos, thoughts and other inspirational images, music and video that I come across.
